Dispensing Automation Industry
The choice of the seal material is of great importance to its sealing performance and service life. The performance of the material directly affects the use performance of the seal.
What are the types of Spring Energized Seals? Take everyone to understand.
Dispensing machine seals are silicone dispensing machine seals, UV glue dispensing machine seals, SMT red glue dispensing machine seals, etc. If the classification according to the mode of operation can be divided into manual dispensing machine seals, semi-automatic dispensing machine seals, automatic dispensing machine seals, etc.
Commonly used in the manufacture of reciprocating seals in hydraulic systems. Widely used for sealing hydraulic cylinders in construction machinery.
Dispenser seals are generally divided into silicone dispenser seals, UV glue dispenser seals, SMT red glue dispenser seals, etc. If the classification according to the mode of operation can be divided into manual dispensing machine seals, semi-automatic dispensing machine seals, and fully automatic dispensing machine seals. But their professional academic names are generally the following.
Pure PTFE and white modified PTFE
It is generally used in light to medium dynamic and static applications, with limited resistance to wear and heat, low gas permeability, good low-temperature properties medium extreme vacuum applications.
Black polymer filled PTFE
Excellent wear resistance at high temperatures and pressures and high speeds, particularly suitable for water and water-soluble solutions, abrasive to soft metals in dry or harsh lubrication conditions. The tan polymer PTFE is not much different from black but is recommended for medium to high-speed dynamic applications on soft metals.
Transparent Pure PTFE
It has excellent thermoplastic properties to resist phi radiation, but limits heat and abrasion resistance and is not recommended as a general seal.
Gray self-lubricating glass-filled PTFE
It provides a low-pressure seal and is soft and abrasive to metals. Of course, another gray self-lubricating organic filled PTFE has good resistance to heat and wear general-purpose material, generally used in dry and low lubricity conditions, especially suitable for water and steam applications.
Self-Lubricating Synthetic PTFE
has excellent abrasion and heat resistance, is compatible with all hydraulic fluids and most chemicals, good for use in water and non-lubricating fluids.
